Prior to joining OPIC, Stephen served as a financial advisor to the Loan Programs Office at the US Department of Energy, providing support in the areas of transaction origination, underwriting and loan monitoring for innovative energy companies.

Stephen previously spent several years in senior management roles in the energy industry, including positions in the independent power industry, transmission development and solar PV manufacturing and project development.

He is a graduate of Brandeis University and earned an MBA from Northeastern University.
