Timothy is the US Chair of DLA Piper’s Renewable Energy Sector Practice, focusing on energy M&A and infrastructure development and finance. His work includes the representation of domestic and international lenders, private equity and project developers in the financing, development, acquisition and sale of infrastructure projects located in North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Timothy has extensive experience with respect to fossil-fuelled power facilities, alternative energy (including solar, wind, biomass and energy storage) and all aspects of the mid-stream oil and gas sector. Timothy represents banks and institutional lenders in connection with construction and term loan financings, private placements, tax-based equity investments, letter of credit facilities, revolving credit facilities and inter-creditor arrangements.
He also represents developers in connection with the acquisition, divestiture, development and financing of infrastructure projects around the world.
