Tobias is the Head of Capital Raising for PowerGen Renewable Energy, based in Nairobi. His most recent deals were with Cross Boundary Energy Access – long-term project finance for mini-grids – and InfraCo – $6.9m equity investment in Sierra Leone. Prior to PowerGen, Tobias lived in the Democratic Republic of Congo working for Adam Smith International and XSML Capital on mobile money/banking, energy access (SHS), and trade. Tobias holds a Master degree in International Relations and is a CFA Charterholder.
