A geologist by profession, Vincent is an Assistant Commissioner at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, where he undertakes management and administration of geothermal exploration and development.

Vincent has more than 18 years of experience in geothermal exploration and has been a project manager of the Uganda Geothermal Energy Resources Development Project since 2012. He has managed government-led targeted geothermal exploration at four geothermal sites, with promising results.

Vincent has been a pioneer in setting up a geothermal institution in Uganda that has helped train and equip personnel at the Ministry. He has played a pivotal role in developing a policy framework to drive development of geothermal resources in Uganda and has worked with BGR, JICA, ISOR, ARGeo and IAEA on geothermal projects.

Vincent is currently managing a World Bank funded geothermal project for institutional strengthening of the Geothermal Resources Department in the Ministry.
