Wale is the Managing Director, Wärtsilä Marine & Power Services Nigeria. He is also the Business Development Manager, Wärtsilä Energy Business, Africa West with main focus on Nigeria and Ghana. Wärtsilä is a global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the marine and energy markets.

With close to 20 years of business development and management experience in the Nigerian oil & gas and power industry, Wale helps his customers in West Africa build reliable, sustainable and flexible power systems.

He started his career as a process engineer in one of the Nigerian petroleum oil refineries.  He has been actively involved in transactions involving large number of turbo-machineries into major FPSO projects in Nigeria, as well as developing projects with  internal combustion engines for both industrial and captive independent power plants.

Wale holds a MSc. in chemical engineering from the prestigious University of Lagos and Federal University of Technology, Minna. He has attended various technical trainings both in Nigeria and abroad. He is a corporate member of Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE).
