Sergio is an energy specialist with 16 years of experience who works as the Technical Lead for the Senior Advisors Group, the energy programme that TBI manages in partnership with Power Africa (USAID).

Sergio is based in Cote d’Ivoire, and he is in charge of the technical supervision of the programme as well as TBI’s assistance to the regional energy institutions in West Africa (Regional Energy Regulator and Market Operator). He is also leading the transaction advisory work that aims at facilitating power trade among West African countries and accelerate market integration.

Sergio previously worked as advisor to the Minister of Energy of Guinea in Conakry, and prior to TBI he worked for a managing consulting company, a trading company and a research centre, always in the field of energy. He holds an MBA at HEC-Paris.
