Following Nigeria’s election, this African Energy online roundtable will discuss the new leadership, any potential political fallout from the election and the security situation.
This fits into a context where Nigeria is committed to major investment in domestic gas-to-power and export LNG (not to mention several grandiose pipeline projects), as well as to a substantial increase in renewables.
But is there the money and joined-up policy to finally deliver all this?
In this difficult business environment investors have increasingly turned to commercial and industrial (C&I), mini-grid and other distributed solutions. Nigeria after the election has a huge agenda, in line with the nation’s size and complexity.
The roundtable, part of the monthly AIX membership programme, will be chaired by African Energy’s Jon Marks and held under the Chatham House Rule.
The meeting is free for all AIX members and African Energy newsletter and Live Data subscribers
A recording of the event will be made available to all participants.
