Julian has 20 years’ experience in the energy industry and has worked in renewables since 2005.  He previously oversaw business development for Lekela in North and Francophone Africa and led Lekela’s investment in the Taiba Ndiaye wind farm in Senegal, which reached financial close in July 2018.

Prior to joining Lekela, Julian worked for RES Group where he led the development of a 300MW portfolio of wind and solar plants in Turkey.  He also worked for Falck Renewables, an Italian renewable energy company, where he was responsible for developing and financing wind farms in the UK, Turkey and Poland.  Julian started his career in project financing at Société Générale, focusing on petrochemical and LNG projects in Egypt and the Middle East.
