Yemisi co-heads Templar’s energy and projects practice. She holds a Master of Science (with distinction) in Energy Studies from the University of Dundee in Scotland and a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from Cardiff Law School in Wales.

She has extensive specialist experience in all aspects of oil and gas development and advisory projects. She has advised the entire value chain in the energy sector. She routinely advises on the bankability of energy projects with a focus on risk evaluation, allocation and mitigation through contractual documentation.​ She has significant experience in regulatory due diligence, support on permitting and consenting processes, core project documentation including gas sale agreements, joint operating agreements, crude handling agreements and financing documentation.

Yemisi combines her commercial experience with her deep understanding of the regulatory and structural underpinnings of the petroleum sector.

On account of her work on various transactions especially in the Nigerian energy and infrastructure space, she has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal and IFLR1000 Guide to the World’s Leading Financial Law Firms.
