Zaidoon is a private sector development specialist and part of the Finance, Investment, and Trade (FIT) Group in the Department of Compact Operations at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
Zaidoon has over 15 years of experience developing partnerships with public and private actors and leading large-scale foreign assistance and blended finance deals. He joined MCC in August of 2005 and has worked on numerous MCC Compacts countries including Benin, Namibia, Zambia, Niger, Jordan, Kosovo and Sri Lanka. He is currently the FIT lead for MCC projects in Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Morocco. He has previously worked at the World Bank and at the investment banking division of Societe Generale in Paris.
Zaidoon has a Master of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University, and French language training from Sorbonne. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
