Dan has nearly a decade of experience reporting on and researching the African power sector and has been involved with major projects for international institutions such as the Africa-EU Energy Partnership and Infrastructure Consortium for Africa.

Dan has a master’s degree in economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, a master’s degree in international relations in the Middle East from the University of Durham and an undergraduate degree in economics and physics, also from the University of Durham.
